Asma : Mengenal Penyakit, Gejala, dan Pengobatan
Asma dapat terjadi pada semua kalangan umur lho, kondisinya ditandai oleh terjadinya peradangan dan penyempitan saluran pernafasan, lebih sering terjadi pada anak dan remaja , apalagi kalau kamu remaja yang aktif, suka olahraga, atau punya banyak kegiatan.
Asma tidak dapat sembuh, namun dapat dikendalikan agar gejala tidak muncul dan dapat hidup normal, asal kamu tahu caranya.
Gejala asma yang sering muncul :
1. Napas terasa sesak, terutama pas malam atau setelah olahraga
2. Batuk-batuk terus, apalagi pas cuaca dingin
3. Napas berbunyi kayak “ngik-ngik” (mengi)
4. Dada terasa berat atau sesak
Penyebabnya bisa karena apa aja sih ?
- Debu, asap, bulu hewan, atau serbuk sari bunga
- Udara dingin atau polusi, Rokok (termasuk asap rokok dari orang lain)
- Aktivitas berat tanpa pemanasan
- Flu atau infeksi saluran napas
Bagaimana sih cara menangani asma yang bisa kamu lakukan ?
- Jauhi hal-hal yang jadi pemicu : Jaga kebersihan kamar dan rumah, hindari hewan peliharaan jika kamu alergi terhadap bulu bulu hewan, hindari asap rokok termasuk asap rokok dari orang sekitar
- Minum obat sesuai aturan , obat kontrol (diminum rutin buat cegah serangan) dan obat pereda (dipakai pas asma kambuh, biasanya inhaler). Pastikan kamu tahu bedanya dan kapan harus pakai.
- Jika tidak ada inhaler :
- Duduk yang tegak (posisi berdiri atau berbaring akan menekan saluran pernafasan)
- Tarik nafas sedalamnya (ini akan membantu mempertahankan pernafasan)
- Jangan panik/ tenang
- Minum air hangat
- Jauhkan diri dari faktor pencetus (contohnya polusi,asap rokok, bulu hewan, dll)
- Segera ke dokter untuk penanganan lebih lanjut.
Jangan jadikan asma sebagai batasan untuk beraktifitas, bisa tetap aktif, tapi harus tahu batas, Olahraga tetap boleh kok, asal pilih yang cocok kayak renang atau jalan cepat, jangan lupa pemanasan sebelum mulai, dan bawa selalu inhaler diimbangi dengan gaya hidup sehat , makan makanan sehat, banyak buah dan sayur, tidur cukup dan kurangi begadang, coba kelola stres dengan hobi atau ngobrol sama teman.
