Yuk, Jaga Kantin Sekolah Tetap Sehat & Aman!
Alogaes… Siapa sih yang nggak suka jajan di sekolah? Apalagi jajanan yang warnanya cerah, rasanya enak, dan bentuknya lucu-lucu. Tapiii… hati-hati ya! Nggak semua makanan yang terlihat menarik itu aman dikonsumsi, lho!
Tahu nggak sih, ternyata keracunan makanan paling banyak terjadi di sekolah, dan yang paling sering jadi korban adalah anak-anak SD. Data dari Badan POM tahun 2006 menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari 21% kasus keracunan terjadi di lingkungan sekolah, dan 75% korbannya adalah anak SD.
Kenapa Bisa Keracunan Makanan?
Biasanya, makanan yang bikin keracunan itu karena:
- Masakan nggak dimasak atau disimpan dengan benar.
- Penjual makanan nggak cuci tangan dulu sebelum masak.
- Pakai bahan tambahan yang berbahaya atau nggak sesuai aturan.
- Lingkungan kantin kotor, banyak lalat atau tikus… ihh serem!
Gejalanya bisa muncul cepat banget, kayak mual, muntah, diare, sampai sakit perut. Kadang setelah dicek di lab, ternyata makanan itu terkontaminasi bakteri jahat seperti E. coli, Salmonella, atau Staphylococcus aureus. Makanya, sanitasi dan kebersihan kantin itu penting banget!
Program Kantin Sehat di Jakarta
Nah, di Jakarta ada program kece dari Pak Gubernur, namanya Program Kantin Sehat! Tujuannya biar semua anak sekolah bisa jajan dengan aman dan sehat
Apa saja sih syarat kantin sehat? Yuk simak!
Prinsip Sanitasi Kantin Sehat
- Kebersihan lingkungan: Kantin bersih, nggak ada air tergenang, dan jauh dari tempat sampah.
- Sanitasi makanan & alat makan: Makanan dicuci, dimasak matang, alat makannya bersih.
- Kebersihan penjual: Penjual wajib cuci tangan, pakai celemek, dan tutup kepala.
- Penyimpanan makanan: Makanan mudah basi harus disimpan di kulkas ya!
- Pengendalian hama: Harus bebas dari lalat, tikus, dan kecoa! 😬
Syarat Kantin Sehat dari Kementerian Kesehatan
- Lokasi bersih dan punya air bersih.
- Bangunan permanen dengan ventilasi dan pencahayaan yang baik.
- Ada tempat cuci tangan dan tempat sampah tertutup.
- Makanan bergizi dan bebas bahan berbahaya.
- Penjualnya ngerti soal kebersihan dan keamanan makanan.
- Kantin diawasi secara rutin oleh UKS atau puskesmas.
Langkah Menuju Kantin Sehat
Biar kantin sekolah bisa dapat sertifikat Kantin Sehat, ada beberapa tahap yang harus dilakukan, seperti:
✅ Edukasi tentang keamanan makanan buat penjual dan siswa
✅ Pengambilan sampel makanan & minuman
✅ Pemeriksaan kebersihan kantin
✅ Label pembinaan dari puskesmas
Kalau semua sudah oke, baru deh kantin bisa diajukan untuk dapet sertifikat Kantin Sehat dari Dinas Kesehatan Jakarta Barat! Tapi ingat, setelah dapat sertifikat, bukan berarti pengawasannya berhenti, ya! Justru harus makin semangat menjaga kebersihan dan kesehatan kantin.
